No announcement, no bullish news—LYN surges 55% on three waves of volume
To put it plainly, I’m bullish on this coin, but I won’t chase the pump. I only buy pullbacks.
Here’s what I found:
LYN is Everlyn AI, an on-chain AI video project built by a former Meta engineer. The official claim is that it can generate a video in just a few dozen seconds.
I looked around for a new announcement or partnership behind today’s move and couldn’t find anything. It’s purely being driven by money flowing in.
But the way it’s moving is interesting: not one sudden spike, but three waves climbing step by step.
The first wave came yesterday afternoon: one 4-hour candle saw volume of 318 million tokens, pushing the price from 0.0143 to 0.0162.
The midnight wave was even stronger: a single candle moved 1.24 billion tokens and shot straight up to 0.018.
This morning, it first shook out some buyers, with the 1-hour price dropping to 0.01628. Then two afternoon candles moved a combined total of over 1.1 billion tokens, taking it to a new high of 0.02223.
At the time of writing, the price is 0.02201, up 55% in 24 hours. Futures volume is $79.66 million, with 4.36 billion tokens changing hands. Funding is only 0.0136%—longs haven’t reached the point of paying a hefty premium to get in early.
BTC is up just 0.17% over the same period, so this coin is flying solo.
The bullish case:
Each wave has more volume than the last, suggesting this isn’t one person sneaking in early—it’s a relay.
Funding is moderate, and open interest is holding at 723 million tokens. We haven’t seen the kind of punishing 0.15% funding rate that ESports had in the previous run.
The AI narrative is still rotating, and small-cap coins naturally have more room to move.
The bearish case:
If it can rise without an announcement, it can fall without a reason, too.
After listing, this coin once fell by more than 70%. Its historical return is around -93%, so it has a pretty ugly track record.
There are just over 200 million tokens in circulation, and the market cap is only around $4–5 million. The order book is thin, so it can get dumped just as quickly.
My take:
This three-wave volume pattern is a little more convincing than a single explosive candle, but convincing doesn’t mean it’s worth chasing.
At the 0.02223 high, there’s no previous resistance to use as a reference—this is uncharted territory.
So I’m only interested in a pullback, not chasing the price.
Honestly, volume is calling the shots here. As long as it keeps coming in, the steps up are still intact.
Possible scenarios:
If it holds above 0.0223 and closes there, the next step is the 0.025 round-number level.
If it breaks below 0.01825—the 24-hour average—that means the relay has stalled. Next levels to watch are 0.0162, the high of the midnight move.
If that breaks, it could head back to its old home around 0.0143.
What I’m planning to do:
I took a small position on the pullback near 0.019. If it breaks below 0.01825, I’m out.
I’m putting that out there now: if I exit, I’ll own it. I won’t stubbornly hold on.
Will three waves of rising volume build into a fourth and take it to 0.025, or will volume dry up and send it back below 0.01825? I’m betting on another step up, but I won’t chase the price. What about you?
