Binance says Malaysia licensing pathway has been under discussion for nearly 10 months.
Around 10-31, a spokesperson confirmed to Bloomberg that Binance had been in discussions with Malaysia’s Securities Commission (SC) and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) about a licensing pathway for nearly 10 months;
its official website and app remain blocked; in 2021-07, it was ordered to cease local operations, and around 10-08, it was again added to the investor alert list.
