Two traders. Same coin. Same morning.

A coin jumps 25% in two hours. The feed is full of rocket emojis.

Trader A panics about missing out and buys near the top with 10x leverage. No stop loss. "This is going to double, I can feel it."

Trader B looks at the same chart and asks one question: "Where do I get out if I'm wrong?" There's no clear answer, so B does nothing. Sets a price alert at the last support level and goes to make tea.

By evening the coin is down 18% from the top. A gets liquidated.

B's alert goes off. Price has pulled back to a level that held before. Now there's a clear entry and a clear stop just below it. B buys spot, small size.

And if it had kept dropping? B's stop would've meant a small, planned loss. A's mistake cost the whole account.

Same coin. Same information. Completely different outcome.

The difference wasn't luck or some secret indicator. It was a few questions B asks before every trade:

🔹 Am I buying because of a plan, or because the candle is green?
🔹 Where's my stop, and am I okay losing that amount?
🔹 Is the price near support, or am I buying in the middle of nowhere?
🔹 If I miss this move, will it actually matter a month from now?

That last one is the most important. There's always another setup. There isn't always another account.

Save this for the next time you feel the urge to chase. Which trader have you been? Be honest 😅

Not financial advice.
