【$BTC Structure Breakdown: A Rebound with a Volume-Price Divergence】
#K线结构 #量价关系 #Market Analysis
The takeaway first: the 1-hour chart shows a genuine rebound backed by volume; the 4-hour chart does not.
$BTC is now at 78,431.6, up 0.94% over 24 hours, with a high of 78,598 and a low of 77,561.9.
The 1-hour chart has turned bullish. The candle closing at 01:00 on November 2 closed at 78,373.4, opened at 78,104.8, spiked to 78,598 intraday, and closed near its high. Turnover was 393 million, compared with a 20-candle 1-hour average of 209 million, or 1.88 times the average. The moving averages are in bullish alignment: MA5 78,087.6 / MA20 77,997.3 / MA50 77,699.8. Price is above all three, and RSI is 61.2—not overbought.
But the 4-hour chart is completely different. The 4-hour candle at 20:00 on November 1 closed at 78,313, with turnover of only 677 million, compared with a 20-candle 4-hour average of 1.869 billion, or 0.36 times the average. The previous candle was even lower, at 0.33 times the average. MA5 77,978.5 / MA20 77,826 have been reclaimed, but MA50 at 79,430 is still overhead. RSI is 62.6.
The message is clear: short-term buyers are pushing prices up with real money, but there is no fresh capital stepping in on the 4-hour timeframe; the move is relying entirely on existing positions being squeezed. Two consecutive 4-hour bullish candles on declining volume mean the bears are temporarily inactive, not that the bulls are aggressively accumulating.
Volatility is also worth watching. The 4-hour ATR ratio is just 0.66, indicating compression. False breakouts are most common in this kind of environment: price appears to be moving up, but is actually consolidating before choosing a direction. The 1-hour ATR ratio is 1.07, which is normal; activity is just starting to pick up on the shorter timeframe.
$ETH is a more extreme version of the same setup. The 4-hour RSI is already at 79.9, nearing overbought territory, while the 1-hour RSI is 62.4 and volume is 3.85 times the average. Price is 2,293.23, just 11 points below the 4-hour MA50 at 2,304.3.
Key levels:
$BTC support: 77,561.9 (24-hour low) / 77,395.8 (30-candle 1-hour low); resistance: 78,598 (24-hour high) / 79,430 (4-hour MA50)
$ETH support: 2,244.48 (24-hour low); resistance: 2,297.79 (24-hour high) / 2,304.3 (4-hour MA50)
My approach: For $BTC , the rebound only qualifies as an upgrade if price holds above 78,000 on the 1-hour chart and closes above 79,430 on the 4-hour chart with volume. Otherwise, this is just a low-volume 4-hour recovery, and the 78,600 area will most likely remain choppy. $ETH is in a more awkward position: with the 4-hour RSI at 79.9, the risk-reward of chasing it is poor.
