🔴 Chips remain bearish Monday | AAPL volatile ahead of earnings | TSLA holding strong

Markets were closed over the weekend, so the call in my last post—“don’t buy the dip in chips just yet; expect choppy, bearish action”—hasn’t played out. Prices are still at Friday’s close; we’ll find out when U.S. markets open tonight.

$AAPL closed Friday at 344.63, down 0.9% for the week and just over 1% below its 60-day high of 348.91. Earnings are due after the close tonight. With the stock this high, even good news may not push it up, so expect choppy trading ahead of earnings.

PLTR fell 6.3% Friday to close at 184.11. It also reports after the close tonight and has pulled back 12% from its 60-day high of 209. High-valuation stocks are getting hit alongside AI; earnings could bring big swings, so don’t chase it.

$AMD fell 10.9% Friday to close at 504.8, down 20% over the past 20 days, with earnings due after Tuesday’s close. NVDA closed at 204.64, down 12.5% over the past 20 days, right at its 60-day low. Chips are likely to remain weak next trading session; let’s wait for AMD’s results before making a call.
INTC fell 24% over the week to close at 65.76. The knife is still falling—don’t try to catch it.

$TSLA gained 7.4% for the week to close at 399.81, making it the strongest of the Mag 7. It’s near its 60-day high of 407; strong stocks can stay strong.

For context: The Nasdaq fell 2.9% Friday to close at 25437, its 60-day low.
Until risk appetite returns, don’t expect BTC to rally on its own either.
