The daily candle closed at 8 a.m. The answer I’d been waiting up all night for is in: 78,230. It held above 78,000.
Those few times it climbed up and slipped back down overnight didn’t count as a real breakout—but this time, the closing price is firmly above 78,000.
The current price is hovering around 78,384 and still edging up, but don’t get carried away just yet.
The hurdle at 79,280 is still ahead. Closing above 78,000 just means we’ve pulled a foot out of the mud—not that we’ve cleared the barrier.
My levels are still the same: 79,280 to the upside, 76,500 as support, and 75,000 as the last line of defense.
My approach hasn’t changed either: don’t chase, don’t open new positions. We can talk about the next move once 79,280 breaks. If it falls back below 76,500, this view is invalidated—and I’ll own it.
ETH is around 2,272, still below 2,300. Big brother just got back on his feet, but little brother hasn’t caught up yet—and that’s normal.
