The stock-tokenization show is getting a collective “no” from issuers: OKXICE, a joint venture between ICE, the parent company of the NYSE, and OKX, wanted to bring shares of 62 companies on-chain for trading. But by October 30, the list of objectors had grown to 50. Nvidia, Nike, Costco, Micron, and Reddit were among the latest additions. The number surged from 38 to 50 in just two days, after reaching only 26 on October 26. Under the SEC’s September 17 temporary exemption, issuers can keep their own shares out by objecting in writing within 30 days. Microsoft, Alphabet, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Walmart had already objected. This isn’t a technology issue—it’s Wall Street voting with its feet: my shares, and nobody else gets to tokenize them. #股票代币化 #OKXICE
