⚠️ Why does your futures account get liquidated even though Stop Loss is enabled? 🤔

Many people think it’s manipulation, but it’s usually due to incorrect settings:

1️⃣ Stop-Limit order: During rapid crashes, the price can move past your pending order, leaving it unfilled until you get liquidated! (Solution: Use Stop-Market to ensure an immediate exit.)
2️⃣ Last Price: Binance calculates liquidation based on the Mark Price. If your order is linked to the Last Price, you may be liquidated before it triggers! (Solution: Link the order to the Mark Price.)
3️⃣ Slippage and liquidity: During news events or with low-liquidity coins, a rapid candlestick wick can eat into your margin before your order executes because there isn’t enough opposing liquidity.
4️⃣ High leverage: Using high leverage brings liquidation very close, and even a server delay of a fraction of a second can liquidate you before your stop is triggered.
