The figures are in for withdrawals during the first phase of the Binance hack incident, and numbers are more persuasive than slogans: from 06:00 to 15:30 UTC on November 1, approximately $4.649 billion in withdrawals were processed, while about $1.01 billion was deposited, for a net outflow of roughly $3.64 billion—only about 2.1% of its approximately $171 billion in assets. All 15 initially affected networks were fully restored by 12:36 UTC. Withdrawal volumes then stabilized, with no bank-run-style panic. About 95% of the stolen assets have been replenished with company funds. The proof of reserves on November 2 will be the next test: whether money can move in and out freely. Users vote with their feet; the fact that no bank run occurred is itself the result of a stress test. #币安 #ExchangeSecurity
