A new scam attempt is exploiting the Binance security incident.
According to a warning shared by co-founder He Yi on 01/11/2026, criminals are sending small amounts of GRAM via Telegram, accompanied by messages impersonating official announcements from the exchange.

The fake alerts claim that usersā assets are at risk and instruct them to transfer the assets to a supposed āBinance vault.ā
The goal is to trick victims into sending cryptocurrency to addresses controlled by scammers.
š How to protect yourself:
ā¢ Donāt transfer assets based on instructions received in unsolicited messages.
ā¢ Donāt connect your wallet to links sent by strangers.
ā¢ Donāt share recovery phrases, passwords, or authentication codes.
