Binance’s first-day withdrawal ledger is out: $3.64 billion in net outflows over 9.5 hours, just 2.1% of total assets

Binance’s official X post revealed that from 14:00 to 23:30 on November 1, Binance processed $4.649 billion in withdrawals and $1.01 billion in deposits, resulting in net outflows of about $3.64 billion.
All 15 networks and assets in the first phase were fully restored by 20:36. Withdrawal volumes surged initially but have since subsided and stabilized, while deposit volumes remain relatively high.

My take: The first wave of the bank run seems to have been weathered. The 2.1% figure is more reassuring than any verbal assurances, and most users haven’t run for the exits.
What I’m doing: Keeping an eye on two things: whether the updated Proof of Reserves goes live on time today (November 2), and the opening schedule for the remaining networks in the next phase. If either one is delayed, I’ll follow up.

Do you think these net outflows are large or small?
