Trading futures with 1000U: What really sets people apart isn’t technical skill, but these 3 habits
I’ve always felt that there are plenty of opportunities in crypto, but if you want to make money in this market over the long term, the first habit you need to break is going all in $UAI

I once met a follower who started trading with 1000U and later grew their account to 60,000U

Of course, this is just their personal experience and doesn’t mean everyone can replicate it

From what I observed, the most valuable thing to learn from how they got this far isn’t luck, but the three principles they consistently followed

First: Manage your funds separately, and never go all in lightly
If I had 1000U, I’d prefer to plan how to allocate it in advance
350U: for everyday trades 350U: to wait for more suitable swing-trading opportunities 300U: as reserve funds, not to be touched casually
Not every market move is worth trading, and just because you have money in your account doesn’t mean you should put it all into trades.

Second: If you don’t understand the market, it’s better not to trade
I’ve never liked repeatedly trading in choppy markets $LSK

When the market moves sideways, it’s easy to buy high and sell low. When the direction is unclear, opening trades frequently only creates more opportunities to make mistakes

My rule of thumb is:

If the trend isn’t clear, don’t rush in. If the market hasn’t confirmed a move, don’t take a large position early. If there’s no suitable opportunity, staying out of the market is also a choice

The market never runs out of opportunities; what’s scarce is patience

Third: Set your rules in advance, and don’t let emotions dictate your trades
This is also what I consider the most important point

Before entering a trade, think through:

How much of a loss can you tolerate? At what point do you need to set a stop-loss? How will you protect your profits once you’re in the green? When should you stop trading after a series of losses?

Don’t blindly add to your position when you’re losing, and don’t let greed derail your plan when you’re winning

The biggest danger in trading isn’t getting it wrong once; it’s knowing you’re wrong and still refusing to exit

My biggest takeaway over the years is this:

When I first started trading futures, I was always hoping to double my money quickly $IDOL

Only later did I realize that what’s truly worth pursuing isn’t how much you made on a single trade, but whether you can stay level-headed over the long term

Don’t go all in, don’t hold onto losing positions, and don’t blindly chase the market

Whether your account can keep growing ultimately depends on your discipline and risk management.
There are opportunities in the market every day, but your capital isn’t unlimited
