Multiple media outlets confirmed that some securities firms, fund managers, and banks in mainland China received an urgent notice this Sunday. The People’s Bank of China, the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and other departments will hold a meeting tomorrow morning to discuss measures to support the use of capital market instruments.

The meeting will also cover optimizing policies on relending for stock buybacks and increased shareholdings.

This is seen as a sign that China’s national team is preparing to further stabilize the stock market.
