🚨 Ethereum ETFs “record 23 consecutive days of net outflows”? Data sources disagree—don’t get swept up by the headlines

Glassnode says U.S. spot ETH ETFs have seen net outflows for 23 consecutive trading days, the longest streak since launch, with more than $1 billion in outflows in October.
But Farside’s daily data shows $4.4 million in net inflows on 10/23, followed by five consecutive days of outflows from 10/26 to 10/30, totaling $431.4 million ($155.7 million on 10/30, the largest daily outflow).

📊 The two sets of figures differ significantly, but point in the same direction: traditional investors bought heavily in August and September, then pulled back in October.
ETH closed October at around $2,252, down 16.1% for the month (cryptowatchdesk).
🔹 Good news: On-chain staking hit a new high over the same period, suggesting long-term holders haven’t left.
🔹 Bad news: ETFs are a channel for institutional buying. Without net inflows, the rebound lacks fuel.

🎯 What to watch: The key is whether ETFs can post their first day of net inflows. On the downside, watch the $2,200 level; on the upside, $2,317 is resistance at the 4-hour EMA 50 (blockchain.news).

💬 Which figures do you trust? Will ETH ETF outflows run their course before prices rise, or will they continue to weigh on the market? Let’s discuss in the comments 👇
