I'm going to share my truth with you.
As you already know, I'm focused on growing my small account. Recently, after a difficult run of trades, my futures capital was nearly depleted. Instead of taking a break, I made a high-stakes decision: a move that was both risky and carefully analyzed.
I transferred an extra 5 USDT to futures and opened a position based on the following criteria:
The technical and sensible:
*I used a very limited margin: just 2 USDT.
*I chose BNB, basing my entry on a key higher-timeframe support level (6h).
The high risk (what I don't recommend replicating):
-I used 59x leverage.
-I traded without a fixed Stop Loss, relying exclusively on active monitoring and the asset's strength.
Why did I do it? My usual scalping strategy uses such a tight Stop Loss that the volatility we've seen in recent days was stopping me out too early. For this longer-term trade, I needed to give the price room to move, based on my structural analysis.
The result: 14 hours later, the position closed with a +1.54 USDT gain (+76.29% ROI).
Was this my best risk management? Definitely not. But it was backed by market research, not just luck.
Knowing your abilities, the size of your capital, and taking responsibility for every loss or gain are essential parts of the learning process.
This is not investment advice. ⚖️
