SpaceX Chief Operating Officer Gwynne Shotwell said she will donate more than 2 million shares of SpaceX stock to fund Trump Accounts for children. According to Odaily, the first donated shares are being transferred to a custodial account and are expected to be distributed in December.

The initial beneficiaries will be children ages 11 to 17 who live in ZIP code areas with median household incomes of $57,000 or less, as well as children in areas too sparsely populated to calculate a median household income. Their families are expected to be notified by Monday.

Shotwell said additional donations are expected to be finalized in the coming weeks. They will cover children ages 11 to 17 in families of military personnel serving overseas, children in foster care, and more children in counties near SpaceX’s Texas headquarters where median household income is $90,000 or less. She thanked the U.S. Treasury Department, the Internal Revenue Service, the Dell Foundation and other teams for supporting the program.
