PANews, November 1 — SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell announced that more than 2 million shares of SpaceX stock donated by her and her husband, Robert, will be allocated to children’s “Trump Accounts” in December. The first batch of shares is being transferred to custodial accounts and will go to children aged 11 to 17 whose families live in ZIP code areas with a median household income of no more than $57,000, as well as children of the same age in ZIP code areas where income data is not published because the population is too small. The families concerned will be notified by Monday. The second donation will be finalized in several weeks and will cover children in military families stationed overseas, children in foster care, and children of the same age in certain Texas counties where the median household income is no more than $90,000. The U.S. Treasury Department, the IRS, the Dell Foundation, and others participated in the donation.
