I want to call this bullish, but I’m worried I’ll get fooled again by a broad rally on shrinking volume. I’m still bullish, but only on assets with volume and the nerve to serve as an anchor.
The Fear Index is at 34. Scanning the top gainers for the day, not one is up more than 5%. $BTC Price is 77923, up just 0.39 over 24 hours. Over the past hour, it moved from 77392 to 78285, just 0.46% below the daily high. 24-hour volume is under 500 million—this isn’t an attack; it’s a slow boil. The 4-hour chart is still down 4.49%, with price retreating from 81971 to 76326. The overhead supply is thick enough to stop bullets. But Saylor just posted another Tracker at this very moment, putting expectations of more accumulation on the table. Besides BTC, who dares to be the anchor? HYPE muscled its way into the top gainers with 20.6M in volume—one of the few altcoins with real volume, daring to move early. SUI is slightly up on 17.9M in volume, making it one to watch for a catch-up rally; whether to follow still depends on BTC.
The conclusion is simple: money only cares about HYPE with volume and BTC with a story. For altcoins to catch up, they’ll have to wait for the anchor to hold firm first.
If we break below 77392, my bullish thesis is invalidated on the spot; only a break above 78285 would count as a real move. Everything in between is just choppy action. If HYPE can’t sustain its volume, I’m out. And if SUI loses its slight gain, don’t stubbornly hold on.
I’m putting this on record: if BTC doesn’t hit 80000 this week, I’ll come back and delete this myself. I’ll own it if I’m wrong. Bowl’s ready—let the bears jump right in.
