🔍 DeFi | Smart Contract Risks
· What it means: If the code is changed after an audit, or the deployed version differs from the audited version, the audit’s conclusions may not fully apply.
· How to understand it: Risks don’t come only from the contract code: oracles, external protocols it depends on, admin permissions, and a compromised frontend can all pose problems.
· Practical tip: When a new protocol offers yields clearly higher than comparable ones, check whether it has been audited, whether the team is public, and whether the contract can be upgraded unilaterally.
