$ETH Everyone was expecting October to be «Uptober», but Ether closed it down 16%. Bitcoin lost 7.3%, and only October 2014 was worse for it. But Ether fell more than twice as much, and that’s what gets my attention more than any headline. When the market gets scared, money flows into the biggest asset. Bitcoin’s share is already around 59%, while Ether closed the month at $2,252, as if it weren’t the market’s second-largest coin, but just another altcoin. The Fear Index plunged from 70 to 36 in four weeks. These are exactly the moments when I’d rather watch than sell. Funding is almost zero, meaning the leveraged crowd is no longer rushing to go long. My plan for November is simple. As long as Ether holds above $2,200, I’m expecting a bounce to $2,450. If it settles below $2,150, the next stop is $2,000, and that’s where I’ll start considering buying. Is Ether a bargain or a trap for you right now?
