Binance has really opened withdrawals for the first batch of assets. The Bitcoin network is first, with Changpeng Zhao confirming the launch in a single sentence.
Withdrawals aren’t all being opened at once. They’re being prioritized according to withdrawal demand over the past week, and each network-and-asset combination must pass security and stability checks before withdrawals are allowed. Ethereum, BNB Chain, Tron, Solana, the XRP Ledger, Zcash, and Dogecoin are still waiting for their checks. Those in the queue are understandably frustrated, but can only wait their turn.
The official position is that about 95% has been replenished. The remaining, less liquid coins will take time to raise. The company will bear the losses, not users. The opening of withdrawals doesn’t mean the matter is settled; whether the frozen funds can be recovered remains to be seen.
