🐋 Beyond watching the market, there’s another concept you should understand: hash functions
It’s very difficult to work backward from a hash value to the original input using a secure hash function, and it’s almost impossible to find two different inputs that produce the same hash value.
Proof of work works because hash results can’t be predicted in advance. The only way to find a hash that meets the difficulty requirement is to keep trying.
Mining $BTC is essentially just repeatedly calculating SHA-256 hashes to find a result that meets the difficulty requirement. Currently: 78114.
Don’t place an order just because everyone around you is doing it.
