The Fed is sending hawkish signals again, and the suspense over a December rate hike is building!

On October 30, Dallas Fed President Logan publicly said that the Fed still needs to raise rates at least twice, by 25 basis points each time, for a total of 50 basis points.

She believes the U.S. economy remains strong and the job market stable, but core PCE inflation is still as high as 3.1%, well above the 2% target.

This week, the Fed chose to hold steady, keeping rates at 3.75%–4.00%. But that doesn't mean the rate-hiking cycle is over.

Markets remain divided over whether rates will rise in December, and Fed officials have yet to reach a fully unified view on the pace of policy.

For U.S. stocks and Bitcoin, continued rate hikes are undoubtedly a potential headwind.

We were expecting rate cuts, and now the discussion is about how many more hikes there will be.

This December meeting is likely to make markets nervous all over again.

What do you think—will rates rise again in December, or will the Fed pause and wait?
