【Progress Update | Binance Withdrawals Reopen in Phases】

Today (11/1), we finally moved from “countdown” to “withdrawals starting to resume.”

First, the facts that can be verified:
1) Early this morning Beijing time, Binance announced the first phase of withdrawal recovery: the Bitcoin network would reopen first, followed by the resumption of ETH / BNB / USDT / USDC on Ethereum and BNB Chain. The first phase covers around 15 assets/networks, prioritized according to user demand over the past week.
2) Official figures: Around $6.3 billion in assets were stolen, and the company has replenished about 95% of them. Another roughly $3 billion in stolen funds has been frozen or located by partners. The replenishment funds came from SAFU, the Futures Insurance Fund, and the company treasury.
3) Security measures are also switching the “withdrawal channels”: Binance has added newly generated wallet addresses to its Proof of Reserves (PoR) address list, and future withdrawals will be sent from these new addresses. The official target for the full zero-knowledge PoR report remains around 11/3.

Practical reminder: Check the withdrawal page to see whether your coin and network are available. During peak periods, withdrawals may be queued or fail temporarily, so try again after a while. Receiving funds from a “new address” was announced by Binance and doesn’t mean anything is wrong—verify addresses only on Binance’s official PoR page, and don’t trust addresses sent by “customer support” in private messages.

As for the market, $BTCUSDT perpetuals are currently around 78,070, and $BNBUSDT around 713 (data pulled at approximately 17:56 Beijing time on 11/1). Withdrawals have only just reopened, and volatility remains. Getting the withdrawal channels and security practices in order is more important than chasing rallies or selling in a panic.

This is only a record of official developments and does not constitute investment advice.
