According to on-chain analysts, the hacker behind the Binance heist dumped $PROM with a nominal value of around $5 million all at once into a tiny Uniswap pool with almost no liquidity, receiving just 0.0316 ETH in return, worth about $71.6.
This was another blunder by the hacker, following the mistaken transfer of around $3.3 million worth of tokens into the NEWT contract, where they were permanently locked. The pool was too shallow: the more they sold, the harder the price fell, meaning the money essentially evaporated.
