Those altcoins I wouldn’t consider holding long-term???

I’ve been emphasizing which altcoins are suitable for long-term holding, so today I’m doing the opposite and sharing which ones I personally wouldn’t consider holding long-term. They may be fine for short-term trades, but I wouldn’t hold them for the long term.

If I were to reassess a group of altcoins from a long-term investment perspective, I’d be more cautious about these 30 projects:

WLD, ADA, KAITO, ARB, FIL, GRASS, $OP, AEVO, DOT, IMX, STRK, CRO, MOVE, PYTH, ALGO, APT, ETHFI, TIA, JTO, BLUR, SEI, PLUME, EIGEN, ZK, APE, SAGA, SCR, ALT, CAKE, FORM, SHIB.

I’m not saying these projects have no potential to rise. I just think that long-term holding requires considering more factors. Future token unlocks, inflation, fierce competition, weak value-capture ability, and outdated narratives could all weigh on their long-term performance.

Some projects have solid technology and ecosystems, but that doesn’t necessarily mean their tokens are worth holding long-term. They could certainly have a strong rally in the next bull market, but short-term gains and long-term investment value are two different things.

I’ve always believed that when investing in crypto projects, you can’t just look at the story and the technology—you also need to consider whether the token itself has the ability to capture value.
