Binance’s fourth update is here: 95% of the stolen assets have been recovered, and withdrawals will resume in phases starting at 14:00 today

What we know:
Binance’s official announcement on November 1: withdrawals in the first phase will gradually open between 14:00 and 17:00 Beijing time today.
The first batch covers 15 chains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Solana. Most major coins are included.
The recovery rate has risen from yesterday’s 90% to around 95%. The remaining 5% consists of less liquid small-cap coins outside the top ten, and it will take time to buy them all back.

My take:
Going from “withdrawals suspended” to “a specific schedule for 15 chains” is the most tangible step in the three days since the theft—it’s no longer just a verbal promise, but an action that can result in funds arriving.
However, the announcement also says that withdrawals may initially be delayed or fail. A rush of withdrawals is the real stress test.

What I’ll do:
I’ll first check whether the first batch of withdrawals actually arrives after 14:00 and whether the process goes smoothly. If there are widespread delays or withdrawals are suspended again, the “resumption” will still be in doubt.

Will you withdraw as soon as possible today, or wait and see how it goes for others first?
