Liquidations plunged from about 1.53B yesterday to about 35.8M today—the leverage trade quieted down overnight, while ETFs made a sharp move in the opposite direction. 《Midday Three Numbers · November 1》Spot prices: $BTC about 77.8K (+0.5%), $ETH about 2.27K (+1.2%)

• ① ETF net flows (October 30 session, latest full session; November 1 is Sunday, so there is no new US market session): yesterday BTC +17M, ETH -105M → today BTC -643M, ETH -156M. BTC’s single-day outflow wiped out about 441M in combined inflows over the previous 4 days, making it the largest single-day outflow since June; ETH has now seen outflows for 5 consecutive days
• ② Funding rates (Binance/8h): BTC yesterday about +0.0100% → today about +0.0100%, longs are paying, unchanged; ETH yesterday about -0.0126% → today about -0.001%, shorts are paying much less, nearing neutral
• ③ 24h liquidation volume: yesterday about 1.53B → today about 35.8M, with short positions accounting for about 18.6M, or 52%; longs and shorts are nearly balanced. BTC about 4.8M, ETH about 6.4M

Taken together, the three numbers show: large ETF outflows, funding rates returning to neutral, and liquidations plunging—the money is pulling out and leverage is cooling, yet prices haven't followed suit, so selling pressure and deleveraging are out of sync.

ETFs saw about 799M in outflows in one day, yet prices closed higher and liquidations were down to about 35.8M. Do you think the selling pressure was already cleared out over the past two days, or are investors just sitting on the sidelines for now? Pick a side in the comments.
