Binance reported that it has already replaced 90% of the $6.3 billion stolen from its hot wallets. BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, and USDC, among others, are now 100% backed. The remaining 10% consists of less liquid tokens that it is still buying back. The exchange is absorbing the losses with its own funds and SAFU, and aims to reopen withdrawals this Sunday, 1/11. The FBI attributed the theft to North Korea.
