They said withdrawals would reopen today. Is topping up 90% enough to withdraw? $BNB
BNB is still hovering around 700 bucks, in the 703–706 range. That’s about where it was yesterday morning too—basically flat.
But today is different: it’s the day Binance itself said it would reopen withdrawals. Yesterday, its third update raised the replenishment figure from 80% to 90%. The top 10 coins—BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD, and ZEC—are all fully replenished. The remaining 10% consists of harder-to-source coins outside the top 10, which will take time to gather.
The funds are coming from three sources: the company’s own funds, some money moved from the futures insurance fund, and some from the SAFU emergency fund. The transfers will happen within 24 hours, after which SAFU will be replenished to around $1 billion. The reserve snapshot taken at 00:00 UTC on the 31st is now on the website. The full proof that users can verify themselves will take another 40 to 50 hours and is expected to be released on Tuesday, November 3, UTC. Binance has only said withdrawals will reopen as planned; it will notify users once the details are confirmed.
Once withdrawals open, whether funds flow out or stay put will say more than the 90% figure.
