Binance co-CEO Richard Teng said on Saturday, October 31, that the platform had recovered 90% of the assets stolen in the security incident and was committed to covering the remaining 10%. “Our users will not suffer any financial consequences from this incident,” Teng wrote on X. He said Binance had published a new version of its proof-of-reserves snapshot and was working to resume withdrawals on November 1. “We know how important trust is, especially at times like this,” he said, adding that Binance would keep users informed every step of the way.
