Grok's subscription page has a new update: after selecting “China” in the billing information, you can now purchase a subscription via Alipay or UnionPay. For users in China, this means a smoother payment process, with less reliance on overseas bank cards.
Localizing payment methods may seem like a minor update, but it often directly affects conversion and renewal rates for AI subscription products. Backed by real-time information and xAI models, Grok could gain a stronger presence in the Chinese-language AI subscription market if its access, customer service, and billing experience continue to improve.
Would you consider subscribing to Grok with Alipay?
