NVIDIA showcased a prototype of its next-generation co-packaged optics solution, called OOI (Optics-on-Interposer), at SEMICON West 2026 in San Francisco. According to ChainCatcher, NVIDIA did not provide a commercialization timeline, while industry insiders expect mass production to begin after 2030.
