Pump.fun has officially launched its creator program: sign up, get a custom referral link, and earn a lifetime share of platform fees from traders you refer. It’s kicking things off with a $100,000 competition, too. From November 2 to 16, the top five creators by new trading volume will win: $50,000 for first place, $20,000 for second, and $10,000 each for the other three. The official X account announced it on October 30, and the competition page says registration opens on November 2. CoinGecko shows spot PUMP at around $0.00412 (snapshot at about 20:00 Beijing time), slightly up over 24 hours.

The money is an incentive to attract users, not a price-support measure. Critics will point out that fake followers and wash trading have long been common in launchpad circles. Tying prizes to new trading volume makes it easier to manufacture activity, and there’s no guarantee it all comes from real users.

If, within a week of the competition starting, the team only posts registration numbers and can’t provide verifiable figures for new trading volume or rules for handling cheating, treat this as a user-acquisition ad—not proof that the platform has genuinely leveled up.
