What determines the liquidation price?
In isolated margin mode, manually adding margin moves the liquidation price of a long position down, and the liquidation price of a short position up, farther away from the current price.
In cross margin mode, the liquidation price mainly depends on the account balance and position size. Unrealized P&L on other cross margin positions will also cause the liquidation price to change.
The key thing to remember when managing funds: to move the liquidation price farther away for cross margin positions, reducing your position size or increasing your balance is more effective than lowering leverage.
