When you send $DOGE , how do you know whether it arrived? What did you rely on the last time?
I only really thought about this last week. The other person replied, “Got it,” and I took that as confirmation. I didn’t even look up the transaction hash.
When I think it through, there are probably three ways: check the record for the transaction itself, look at what the other person’s platform says, or just watch to see whether the balance in your own wallet changes. I asked three people around me and got three different answers. One of them didn’t even know where to look up a transaction.
For now, I usually go with the first option and keep the other two as supporting evidence. Once, the accounts on both sides didn’t match, and I had to go back and check the records to sort out the timeline.
Which way do you usually check? Have you ever had the two sides disagree?
