① Optimistic Rollups assume transactions are valid, but have a challenge period. Withdrawing to the mainnet through the native cross-chain bridge usually takes around 7 days.
② In March 2024, Ethereum’s Dencun upgrade introduced blob data (EIP-4844), making it much cheaper for Layer 2 networks to post data to the mainnet.
③ When making a transfer, confirm which network you’re using: assets at the same address are separate across different networks.
