PANews reported on October 31 that the Stellar blockchain network announced that Stellar is now the default network in MetaMask’s mobile app and browser extension. Starting today, every existing MetaMask account will automatically generate a Stellar address derived from the user’s existing recovery phrase, with no additional setup required. Users can directly hold, manage, send, and receive XLM, Trustline assets, and Soroban tokens, and swap between Stellar and other supported networks. Existing Stellar users can also import their accounts using their recovery phrase.
