Flap, a token issuance and trading platform on BNB Chain, has enabled a new domain: https://t.co/kl2RoRrG1N
Its previous domain was suspected of being maliciously hijacked in a DNS attack, but it has now been restored to normal operation.
Flap has migrated its official website to the new domain https://t.co/kl2RoRrG1N and recommends that users access it directly via the new domain. For now, users should avoid visiting the old domain https://t.co/1EFTmI0dqK.
The attacker reportedly copied and impersonated the homepage of Flap’s official website. Fortunately, the attack only affected the homepage. Flap’s other pages and features—including token creation, Vault, and lockups—are all operating normally.
In addition, Flap is a non-custodial platform and does not hold or custody users’ wallet assets. If users visited the hijacked website during the incident and suffered financial losses as a result of malicious transactions or authorizations after connecting their wallets, Flap will fully compensate them for those losses.
