When assessing a MACD crossover, where it occurs matters more than whether it’s a golden or death cross. A golden cross below the zero line means bearish momentum is fading during a downtrend. It is essentially a rebound signal, and is less conclusive than a golden cross above the zero line. The trend can only be considered stronger once the DIF rises back above the zero line.
Don’t go all in or out based on a single signal. Scaling in or out in stages gives you more flexibility.
