Everyone, after Binance announced a $6.3 billion hack, scammers created hundreds of fake websites and accounts under the name โBinance Compensation.โ
*Read this so your account doesnโt get stolen:*
โ *4 things you should NEVER do:*
1- Donโt click any link that says โClick here to recover your money from Binanceโ โ itโs all lies!
2- Donโt give anyone your password or 2FA code, even if they say theyโre โfrom the Binance team.โ
3- Donโt open a link sent to you on WhatsApp or Telegram from an account called Binance Support.
4- Donโt transfer money to anyone who says, โIโll send you your compensation.โ
โ *4 things to do right now to protect your account:*
1. *Enable 2FA with Google Authenticator* โ go to Settings > Security.
2. *Enable an Anti-Phishing Code* โ a password that appears in every official email from Binance so you can tell real emails from fake ones.
3. *Enable the withdrawal address whitelist* โ this means withdrawals can only go to addresses you trust.
4. *Always check the link:* The only official website is *binance.com*. One extra character = a scam.
