Nearly 89% of crypto hacking losses are suspected to be linked to North Korea
Crypto
has become a cash machine for hackers

Holy crap
Brothers
Is North Korea really this badass now?

People used to worry about exchanges getting hacked
Now it's even more fucking outrageous
Hackers may be targeting the wallets, employees, and core systems of the entire crypto industry

According to the latest statistics
Suspected North Korea-linked hacking attacks in 2026
accounted for nearly 89% of reported losses in the crypto industry

What the fuck does that mean?
If you picture the money stolen from the crypto industry this year as a pie
Nearly 90% of it could be linked to these kinds of attacks
Tell me that's not terrifying

And these assholes don't just write code and look for vulnerabilities
They pose as recruiters
Using fake job opportunities to get close to project employees
They also target developers' computers, internal access privileges, and wallet-signing systems
In other words
The target isn't just the code
It's the people who hold the keys to the money

The recent massive crypto theft at Binance
has put the market even more on alert
On-chain investigation firms such as TRM Labs and Elliptic believe
The attack was likely linked to the North Korea-backed group TraderTraitor
However
No government or law enforcement agency has officially confirmed who was behind the attack

TRM Labs also estimates
North Korea-linked hackers have stolen about $12.8 billion in crypto assets since 2017
Including about $7.4 billion in 2026 alone

This isn't just some ordinary hacker making a quick score anymore
It's industrial-scale, organized cyber theft

I'm genuinely baffled
When did North Korea get this damn good?
With so many countries
So many big shots
Do these hackers really have no way to stop them?
This is just completely insane
$12.8 billion
Can you even imagine?
If this fucking money were invested in people's livelihoods
How many problems could it solve?
This is such fucking bullshit
