Walmart-backed OnePay opened access to some U.S. users yesterday: send USDC from your own wallet to a deposit address, convert it to dollars through Stripe Bridge, and have it go straight into your checking account balance. There are no conversion fees at launch. The company says it supports 12 networks, including Tempo, Base, Solana, and Ethereum. CoinGecko spot USDC is around $0.9999 (snapshot at about 10:05 Beijing time).

This looks more like turning withdrawals into a one-tap deposit in a banking app than opening another exchange channel. The counterpoint also holds: for now, it’s available only to some U.S. customers, and under the agreement, if Bridge settlement fails, the originating bank may reverse an Early Deposit.

For the next two weeks, verify just one thing: whether the company announces a nationwide rollout timeline or discloses verifiable deposit counts and amounts. If it remains a pilot with no public figures, treat this as a pulse marking the opening of a retail withdrawal on-ramp—not as evidence that stablecoin payments have gone mainstream.
