Birch Hill just raised a $4 million seed round led by Multicoin, with participation from ParaFi, Castle Island, and Nascent, bringing its total funding to around $6.5 million.
The New York-based team aims to bring U.S. multifamily housing, agriculture, and energy loans on-chain. It’s already an official curator on Morpho, has applied for a FINRA broker-dealer license, and has hired talent from Yearn and Gauntlet. The founding team comes from Goldman Sachs and BlackRock, and has operated within the U.S. regulatory framework from the start.
