Hong Kong dollar stablecoins are coming to Solana. I took another look at the data, and the more I looked, the more I felt this wasn’t a random choice.

There are now $14.1 billion in stablecoins sitting on Solana, with monthly transfer volume of over $370 billion. This is no longer just a chain for trading crypto—it’s a real payment channel processing actual transactions.

One more detail: the Hong Kong dollar is pegged to the US dollar, so HKDAP is basically a quasi-dollar issued outside US regulatory oversight, backed by Standard Chartered and licensed by the HKMA. It gives people in Asia who want to use on-chain dollars a legitimate option.

Where the money goes, demand follows for that chain’s token.

SOL has been dragged down by the broader market these past two days, dipping as low as 93.8. It’s been holding above 94 overnight and is now at 96.3 U. I’m leaning bullish: if it retests around 94 and holds, you could consider getting in. If it climbs back above 100, it should be heading for 102, the level from the day before yesterday. #港元稳定币HKDAP将上线Solana $SOL
