After a transaction is broadcast but before it’s confirmed on-chain, where does it get stuck? Many people can’t answer!
“Child Pays for Parent” (CPFP) means spending the output of a stuck transaction and then sending another transaction with a higher fee. For miners to include the second transaction, they must include the first one as well.
Block space is limited, and miners usually include transactions with higher fee rates first. So when the network is congested, transactions with lower fees have to wait longer in the queue.
Unexpected things can always happen in the market. What if your decision, made in advance, turns out to be wrong?
