Came across OnePay’s website: the Walmart-affiliated financial app has enabled some U.S. users to deposit stablecoins—send USDC from an external wallet to a deposit address, have it compliance-checked and converted into dollars through Stripe’s Bridge, and receive it in the same checking account balance. In most cases, it arrives quickly.

Key details: USDC is supported at launch, across about 12 chains (including Tempo, Base, Solana, and Ethereum). OnePay won’t charge a conversion fee during the launch phase (on-chain gas fees are separate). Find it under “Deposit stablecoins” in Cash Control; there’s no need to maintain a separate stablecoin balance.

Receiving stablecoins is always fast, but actually spending them usually means an extra step through an exchange. For a retail bank account to turn “deposit” into “dollars you can spend” in one step is pretty practical for gig workers and people receiving cross-border payments.
