The chance is almost zero under the current model, and I'll explain why with a simple calculation. 👇🏻🔥
Today, #PEPE looks like this:

Price: ~ $0.00000493 to $0.00000524 /
Circulating supply: 420.69 trillion
Market cap: ~ $2.07B to $2.21B
### The calculation to reach $0.01
To calculate the required market cap:
> Market Cap = Price x Supply
> $0.01 x 420,690,000,000,000 = $4,206,900,000,000
It would need a market value of $4.2 TRILLION.
For perspective:
- PEPE is worth ∼$2.1B today. To reach $0.01, it would need to increase in value by ∼2,000x (0.01 / 0.000005).
- $4.2 trillion is more than Bitcoin at its all-time high, and greater than the ENTIRE crypto market combined at its best.
- It would be greater than the , and combined.
That’s why, with the current supply, it’s mathematically unfeasible.
### When could this theoretically change?
Only 3 scenarios would change the math, and none are on PEPE’s roadmap:
1. Massive supply burn: If they burned 99.9% of the tokens. To reach $0.01 with a “normal” market cap of $2B, only 200 billion tokens would have to remain, not 420 trillion. PEPE has no automatic burn mechanism.
2. Redenomination / contract swap: Like what 1000PEPE does on exchanges. It’s not a real increase in value, it just removes zeros.
3. Hyperinflation of the dollar: If the dollar were worth almost nothing, $0.01 wouldn’t mean anything anymore.
As a memecoin, PEPE thrives on hype, community, and liquidity. It’s already made absurd leaps in the past, but leaps of 2x, 5x, or 10x are one thing. A 2,000x increase to $0.01 would mean becoming the world’s largest asset.
If your target is $0.01 as a selling price, it’s better to think about more realistic targets people use for PEPE: returning to its ATH ($0.000017), $0.00001, or $0.00005. Even those would require a 2x to 10x increase from the current price.
