$BTC I came across another new Binance update late at night. Hold off on going to bed, guys—here’s a quick rundown.
He Yi’s post from just before midnight last night boiled down to three points:
The coins they already hold largely match the tokens affected, and only a small portion needs to be sourced on or off the market. They don’t need to pour all 6 billion into the market to buy them back.
As for withdrawals, the goal is still to resume within 42 hours, but they’ll only reopen once they’ve confirmed the security environment is safe—not automatically when the timer runs out.
The proof of reserves will be updated in a few days. They also plan to release a detailed technical audit report and work with industry peers on security standards.
Compared with yesterday’s daytime version, the messaging hasn’t changed; they’ve just explained the backstop in more concrete terms. The two figures—around 3 billion frozen and around 6.3 billion in total impact—are unchanged.
Nothing new on the charts either. $BTC is hovering around 77,250, with 78,000 still hanging overhead as resistance. It hasn’t touched the upper bound at 79,280 or broken below the lower bound at 75,000. ETH is around 2,244 and still hasn’t reclaimed 2,300.
I’m not opening any new positions this round. Chasing longs or shorts this late at night could get you hit from both sides. I’ll wait for a clear direction: if it breaks above 79,280, then I’ll see whether the bullish momentum continues; if it falls below 75,000, then we can talk about the next level. Until then, I’m fine waiting out this range.
Until withdrawals resume, don’t click on any so-called withdrawal recovery links being passed around in group chats. Phishing scammers are especially active right now.
Personal analysis, not investment advice.
