Binance CEO Richard Teng said the exchange has allocated more than $6.34 billion of company funds to replace assets stolen in this week's hack. Teng said customer funds were untouched and Binance will cover every loss. Teng said $5 billion of the reserve consists of the same tokens that were stolen. Teng said an EIP-7702 delegation bypassed Binance's usual approval procedures, prompting the exchange to suspend withdrawals. Binance aims to resume withdrawals by Sunday and release a complete proof of reserves report by Monday.
